Yoga for Schools
There are amazing and endless benefits of kids yoga, some are:

Classes and Descriptions for 2017
I have taught at many local schools, kindys & shopping centres. The connection I feel with the kids is amazing, I just love their enthusiasm when they come to their yoga class each week.

Preschool - Kindy Yoga
Toddler yoga classes are usually repetitive as this the best way for children to learn. The focal point of the class is on the toddler in a safe environment. The class consists of animal asana (poses), singing to nursery rhymes and familiar songs, using our imagination and loads of playing! Parent participation required.
This class is 30 mins.

School Kids Yoga Classes
Kids Yoga 6-12 years
In this 45min of fun the classes are based on kids yoga using positive themes, stories and imagination. The kids energy is upped and hopefully used up before the energy is brought down by ending the class with guided relaxation and meditation that is age appropriate.

Tweens Yoga 9-15 years
This hour of yoga for early/pre teens helps them expend energy and energise them in a positive way. It focuses on posture, strengthening the core, breath awareness all with a positive theme or affirmation. Their energy is brought down by ending the class with guided relaxation and meditation that is age appropriate.

I Just wanted to thank you again on behalf of the PE Extension class here at Elanora for your instruction today. I have had good feedback from the students I have seen since this morning.
They thoroughly enjoyed the session and I'm sure you have made a difference to how some of them approach physical activity in the future.

Mini Buddhas Yoga is an effective, age appropriate program that teaches children to manage their emotions and behaviour through yoga techniques.

Firstly I wanted to say thank you because my son, Jet loves his Kindy yoga and comes home and tells me all about it and sings the songs too. Jet also does soccer of a weekend and we can't get him to concentrate or sit still for very long and the girls at Kindy have told me he's really liking Yoga and getting into it. He came home singing 'running, running, running, now we stop' and I asked the girls if they learnt that at Kindy and they said it was from Yoga. That was a good indication to me that he liked it and was enjoying it. When I pick him up the first thing he says is 'we did yoga today' or (when you were on holidays) 'we didn't do yoga today.'
